The ‘Skills Olympics’ has begun! 🥇👷🧑‍🏭 CIT students are putting their skills to the test at the WorldSkills ACT Regional Competitions. From cabinetmaking, joinery, carpentry, refrigeration and air conditioning, plumbing and heating, electrical installation and welding, they're showcasing the hands-on skills they've developed throughout their studies. Country. Culture. Connection. 🎨 Student artists Rhiannon and Wesley, have helped bring the Yurauna substation to life, turning stories, memories and inspiration from the land into a vibrant mural. Inspired by Country, community and connection, their artwork brings together stories shaped by the Cotter River, the Bogong moth, the wedge-tailed eagle and the landscapes that connect people and place, every element has been chosen with purpose. Through this project, both students strengthened their confidence, explored their creativity and contributed to a public artwork that shares culture and story with the wider community. #CITCBR
