Mechatronics Engineers

Overview

Mechatronics Engineers design and improve smart machines that combine mechanics, electronics, and computer control, such as factory robots, camera systems, and advanced car parts. They build and test precision equipment, create control algorithms and embedded software, choose sensors and materials, and simulate designs on computers to make sure systems work safely and efficiently. They also evaluate costs and performance, write technical reports, and may lead teams or train others on automation and intelligent systems.
